The manual presents current data on the problem of healthcare-associated infections, leading nosological forms and clinical manifestations, basic principles of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of HAIs.
The manual is intended for students of the medical faculty for international students undergoing training in the specialty 1-79 01 01 “General Medicine” in accordance with the requirements of the curriculum, instructions and regulatory documents of the health authorities of Belarus. This manual will also be useful to healthcare personnel dealing with healthcare-associated infections.
