The Practice Manual of Illustrative Anatomy is a meticulously updated anatomy guide geared to meet the requirements of undergraduate medical students, in alignment with the competency based medical education guidelines set by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The content is organized regionally, covering the upper limb, lower limb, thorax, abdomen, pelvis and perineum, head and neck, and neuroanatomy, and more recent editions add a section on perforated form to detail muscle origin, insertion, action, and innervation. Each topic is fully revised to reflect up to date anatomical knowledge and includes key questions for students to test their understanding. The authors have tried to create and develop interest and holistic understanding of the subject through a slightly unconventional approach. The relevant information expected from the students has also been incorporated.
