The textbook briefly and in an accessible form reflects the theoretical aspects of the age-related features of the structure of the musculoskeletal system (MSS) of a person. The proposed manual pays attention to modern methods of MSS visualization, such as X-ray method, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound examination.
The textbook includes test tasks and self-control questions that help to consolidate the information obtained while mastering a large amount of factual material about the age characteristics of the passive and active parts of the MSS.
The manual has been developed in accordance with the requirements of federal state educational standards and is intended for students of the main professional educational programs of higher education at the specialist level in the specialties 31.05.01 General medicine, 31.05.02 Pediatrics.
