Newer Images of High Quality- Many gross and microscopic images added and several replaced with better quality, adding more value and clarity in understanding morphologic pathology for the beginner students. Key Questions for Viva Voce- Important short questions with their brief answers at the end of each exercise, based on the core content covered in that exercise. These are the usual questions which the students are often asked in their viva voce, in ward rounds or in clinic which is likely to help the students in facing exam confidently and for self-test. Complimentary Online Learning Resource- Includes two sections: a section on 10 structured CPCs (text and illustrations) representing different organ systems and common diseases, and the second section on Quick Review of Pathology Museum that includes images and legends of 108 gross specimens from pathology museum of common conditions for quick review of must know specimens for students.

Question and answer format- This user-friendly format of short questions and brief answers replicates the actual exams and contains many questions from previous exams, accompanied by succinct answers written in simple and easy-to-understand language. Illustrations- The book is profusely illustrated with over 500 labelled line-sketches of gross and microscopy of specimens/slides, schematic drawings and photographs. Some of these figures were also used for questions, to show the students that some questions on the forthcoming examination will be based on pictorial material. Tables- The book contains approximately 200 tables that include comparative features of closely resembling conditions, important classifications and listing of salient features. Online learning resources- The electronic supplement to the book includes approximately 1, 200 high-yield questions (MCQs, clinicopathologic vignettes and figure-based questions), followed by corresponding answers and brief explanatory notes for the correct answers, as well as a full rationale for all other answer options.
